to become the premier boutique agency for international baseball talent across Asia.

Since its inception, DTO has negotiated 50+ professional contracts valued at over $40 million, placing players across the world’s most competitive leagues, including Japan’s NPB, Korea’s KBO, Taiwan’s CPBL, as well as top circuits in Latin America.

OUR FOUNDER

Edwin Dominguez is the Founder and President of DTO Sports & Entertainment, and a certified agent with the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA).
 
A native of Santiago, Dominican Republic, Dominguez brings a unique blend of playing experience, academic depth, and international expertise. He was a collegiate baseball player at Hannibal-LaGrange University, earning back-to-back All-Conference honors as a designated hitter.
 
He holds:
•A Bachelor of Business Administration (USA)
•A Master of Economics from Soka University (Japan)
•A Master of Development Policy from the Korea Development Institute
 
Beyond sports, Dominguez has served as a diplomat for the Dominican Republic, with postings in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, South Korea, where he contributed to strengthening bilateral relations.
 
This rare combination of baseball insight, economic strategy, and cross-cultural fluency defines his approach:
building global careers through precision, trust, and opportunity.
 
He is based in Tokyo, Japan with his wife, Yumi Kitamura.
