ABOUT COMPANY
DTO SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY (Formerly DTO Sports Agency) was founded in November 2015, with a vision of becoming the top boutique agency for foreign players in Asian professional leagues.
Since our establishment, we have negotiated more than 35 professional baseball contracts overseas worth a combine 30 million dollars, primarily in the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB), Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), LIDOM (Dominican Rep.), Liga Mexicana de Beisbol (LMB), and other leagues overseas.
OUR FOUNDER
Mr. Edwin Dominguez, born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, is a MLBPA Certified General Agent, founder and current President of DTO Sports & Entertainment Co. Mr. Dominguez was a college baseball player himself, earning American Midwest Conference in the NAIA All-Conference Honors for two straight seasons as a Designated-Hitter.
His academic background includes a Bachelor in Business Administration from Hannibal-LaGrange University in the USA, a Master of Economics from Soka University in Japan and a Master of Development Policy from Korea Development Institute.
Besides his work as a baseball agent, Mr. Dominguez also served to his country as diplomat at the Embassies of the Dominican Republic in both Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, South Korea, where he could contribute to the strengthening of the bilateral ties between his country and these two sister nations.
Edwin is married to Ms Yumi Kitamura, with whom he lives in Tokyo, Japan.
